A radiopharmacy worker has received a cumulative annual extremity dose of 559 mSv (55.9 rem) to the right hand, and 543 mSv (54.3 rem) to the left hand, which exceeds the statutory dose limit of 500 mSv (50 rem) to the extremities. The worker has been removed from job duties involving radiation exposure. NRC EN49493.
