Theft of a device containig radioactive source

On the 15th of July 2015 a GammaMat TI-F device containing a category 2 radioactive source (Ir-192, current activity about 1,76 TBq) was stolen from a construction site of a heat pipeline in Zabrze. The province governor and local services were informed of the event. The device is being searched for by the police.
