Violation of Operational Limits and Conditions is the Interim Spent Fuel Storage Facility

On March 31, 2022 at 9:45 a.m. the first storage tube – no. 22-A-24 – of the storage tube group no. 22/7 was serviced which means a spent fuel assembly was placed into it, got closed and filled up with N2+He gas. As the nitrogen monitoring system of this storage tube group was not filled up with N2+He gas in 60-day period, the OL&C limit was violated.
