Stolen Moisture and Density Testing Gauge

On February 15, 2023 (15:40 UTC), the CNSNS received a notification issued by the Licensee about the theft of a moisture and density-testing gauge (Troxler model 3440) in Hermosillo, Sonora State.

The theft took place when the personnel stopped at Aguascalientes Avenue, Hermosillo Sonora, leaving the vehicle unattended on Tuesday 14 February. The equipment serial number is 30250, containing a 1.42 GBq Am-241/Be source (category 5) and a 172.67 MBq Cs-137 source. (Category 5).
