On 7 March 2026, Iran Nuclear Regulatory Authority (INRA) received information regarding aerial and missile attacks on a sterilization gamma irradiation installation in Esfahan province by the Zionist regime and the United States of America that caused severe damage to the installation. This unit was used for radiation preservation of agricultural products. Up to now, results of environmental monitoring have shown no increase in gamma dose rates or any contamination.
